P&ID to Instrument Index Pilot

A controlled, service-led pilot for package vendors, EPCs, and controls teams who need a structured instrument index from P&ID drawings — with engineering review and a traceable, correctable Excel output.

Who This Pilot Is For

Package Vendors

Skid and package vendors who need instrument indexes for client handover or commissioning.

EPC Teams

Engineering, procurement, and construction teams with large drawing sets and tight schedules.

Controls Teams

Instrumentation and controls teams building I/O lists, cable schedules, or DCS configuration from P&IDs.

How the Pilot Works

01

Qualification

We review project scope, P&ID quality, and estimated instrument count. No confidential files exchanged at this stage.

02

NDA (if required)

If your project requires confidentiality, an NDA is executed before any P&ID files are shared.

03

Secure Input

P&IDs are submitted through a controlled, agreed channel. We do not accept confidential documents through the public contact form.

04

Extraction & Review

Tags are identified from the drawings using structured workflows. Uncertain or ambiguous tags are flagged, not invented. An engineering review follows.

05

Traceable Excel

You receive a structured Excel with all output fields including confidence level, source reference, and flags for tags requiring client review.

06

Correction Cycle

One revision is included. Client's engineering team must perform final review and approval before the index is used in design or procurement.

Output Fields — Instrument Index

Each row in the delivered Excel corresponds to one instrument tag identified in the P&ID set.

Tag PIC-1007? is flagged for review because the tag format is ambiguous on the drawing. Uncertain tags are flagged, not invented.

Engineering Review Required

  • Uncertain or ambiguous tags are flagged for client review — they are never invented or assumed.
  • The output instrument index is a structured first draft and requires qualified professional review before use in design, procurement, construction, or operation.
  • Do not submit confidential P&ID files through the public contact form. Secure input is arranged after the NDA step.
  • Drawing readability, scan quality, and P&ID completeness affect extraction quality. Better inputs produce better outputs.

Confidentiality & Security

NDA Available

A mutual NDA can be executed before any confidential documents are shared.

No Cold Submissions

P&IDs are never requested or accepted through the public contact form.

Controlled Data Handling

Project files are handled through agreed, controlled channels only.
